Top-Rated Drama performances

SO, last week was drama week for the February Main intake of 2009 in Trinity College. As you all may or may not know, we have compulsory drama classes as part of the foundation studies course and we are marked for it. Yeap, after half a year of in-depth training and acting skills mastering, most of us are now professional stage actors, almost reaching that of Hollywood and Bollywood standards.

With everyone putting up outstanding performances, I just couldn’t not share these funny moments with you guys.

Mum flew back a few days ago, taking away my pleasure of not having to do house chores and cook. Gahh..my relaxed days are over I tell you. OVER! :(

Didn’t really do much with her seeing that I still have college to attend and she can handle the place herself since she’s more familiar to Melbourne than me..apparently. I brought her to Holland(getting her lost) several times on our little trips to the outskirts. With a sneer on my face, I told her : At least you’re spending some quality time together with your son!

We headed over to Caulfield to check out one of the campuses of Monash University. About 20 minutes away from the city on train, the campus lies right in front of the station.

Not a bad place to study actually, with everything well-facilitated surrounding the campus: supermarkets, grocery stores, hypermarkets, mini malls, cinemas, restaurants, KFC! (Holy crap, they have KFC there too)

By the way, Australia’s KFC totally owns Malaysia’s KFC.

I pretty like their art and design building.

For commerce and those art courses, you’d practically end up studying here if you’re interested in entering Monash Uni. Well, from what I heard, their commerce courses are much better than Melbourne Uni’s, coming from our own lecturer in Melb Uni.

Anyway, we then headed to Holland(got her lost again) before arriving at Clayton, another suburb where lies yet another campus of Monash Uni. Supposedly it was supposed to be a freaking large and humongous campus, even bigger than Melbourne Uni. I thought by the moment we touched down at the place, we would be greeted by the sight of that place where Harry Potter studies(forgot the name). But heck, I didn’t see anything! Only this huge-ass cross.

We were so tired by the time we got there, we didn’t want to walk anymore after getting directions to the campus. So, we left. So, no photos of it.

Next, we headed off to St. Kilda’s beach.

Actually, more towards the Sunday beach market where a long stretch of stalls selling handicrafts and arts are put up. Didn’t really get down to the beach since it was so cold. Believe me or not, its only my second time here. And the first time was at night, so I didn’t get to craze around on the beach. Now also cannot.

Nope. No photos of me. I’ve been putting on so much weight since my mum’s arrival here I couldn’t possibly bear you the sight of my gluttony. I am so fat the camera lens couldn’t possibly fit my face and body. Darn those devilish tasty home cooked food.

12 days just passed by in a flash, like always. Had the most home-like feeling in Melbourne throughout the whole year and I have my mum to thank for that. Sending her off, I felt like hopping into the cab as well and flying with her back home. Bah. I love night flights…and the feeling of going HOME.

Now, I’m still pondering on what to do this coming holidays. Most of my friends are either flying home, finding jobs, or having vacations in Sydney or the Gold Coast since they have three weeks of holidays and NO EXAMS this term. Being the smartass who took those subjects which HAVE EXAMS, I only have two weeks of break. Sigh. No point in getting jobs, going home or flying to other places, right?

The term is almost over…

Winter had officially passed…

And spring has arrived now.

Current status: Emo-ing and waiting for leaves to grow

Dear Diary..

So, HOI assignment was handed in and done for. No more HOI…Till next term where I HAVE to take the HOI advance test to get into Bachelor of Commerce. Damn. Lucky for those who don’t have to sit down, dig their brains out trying to memorise history(since don’t know when) from what we have learnt for the year, and vomit them out in words. I hate essays. No. Rephrase that. I hate ACADEMIC essays. You can’t freaking use simple English language in these essays. What’s the point of creating those words then? Plus, you have to be tentative and try not to be biased in them. While you are supporting your own idea, you have to give counter-arguments to your own idea as well. Its like saying, “Yes, its like that…but hor, it’s not like that also.” What the hell lah? No wonder all those great, great philosophers end up being crazy.

So, my mum just flew over the night before. After weeks and weeks of persuasions and pitiful tactics, apparently, she really gave in to my naggings and decided to come help me clean my apartment. Hahah! It was a funny one. Well, seeing that she’s coming here anyway, I didn’t clean my place or did my laundry for 3 weeks! Hahaah! What to do? I am that mean. ;) Now the whole place is sparkling clean and not like a pig’s sty anymore. Hooray!

So, it’s a beautiful Sunday afternoon out there. Asked my mum out for a walk around the city or head to the beaches, but she’s too bothered dreaming away in her sleep. Think she’s too tired from that mad shopping yesterday at Ikea. Ma de. Made me carry so much stuffs yesterday. Ask her to take the cab also don’t want. Want to embarrass me in public.

So, I’m stuck at home, having nothing better to do other than filling up this blog, listening to “Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You” by 方大同 and eating my chips….oh wait. Got people ajak liao. Hahah, laters diary~

Assignments+never-ending tasks+slack-time= Lack of update

I will talk more about the ski trip next time. Just have a sudden urge to blab out some random thoughts.

It’s been a while since I’ve expressed myself relationship-wise. I find it hard every time I do so. It’s hard to tell what I feel. Hard to tell what I want.

Humans are complicated. I am complicated.

Being a bachelor(still..), for nearly two years now, brought me to experience a life of freedom, excitement, easygoing and carefree days as well as releasing me from having arguments, fights and relationship pressures. It has also opened up my flexibility to talk to other girls and get to know them more. I should be enjoying life, unlike those tied down men who have to face the rants and riots from their girlfriends everyday, living up to their sky-high expectations, having holes in their wallets and suffering major trauma from them. I could stay up late gaming, go anywhere I want, hang out with anyone I want and above all, having the choice of going for another girl.

It is not wrong for a guy to chase after a girl he likes. It is a healthy exercise in a sort of way. At least, it helps to know that he still likes girls.

Traditionally, it is only right for males to make the first move, which I totally agree. However, it is hard for a guy who doesn’t know exactly how the opposition thinks of him for him to make the right move. Its like gambling and taking risks. Either you win or you lose. Hence, the guy would resolve to ways in reducing the possibilities by taking hints from the girl. But, shouldn’t pursuing further relationships be made simpler?

For example:

Boy likes girl.

Boy meets girl.

Boy says, “ I like you. Can give me a chance to be your boyfriend?”

If girl has interest in boy, “Okay, we can try.”

If girl dislikes boy, “Go die.”

After all, it is the matter of both side’s willingness. If one has the slightest interest in the other, what’s the point of being together then? One hand clapping can’t make sound, can it?

Somehow, the feeling isn’t right in me. I always think its wrong to get too close to another girl and a distant must be maintained even though I am still single. Maybe its just a delusion resulting from failed attempt to rekindle those sparks again. Maybe I’m just entrapped in my own psychology of love. Maybe, I just haven’t found the right one. Or maybe, I’m just thinking too far away.

“Why would one want to be in a relationship?” which begs the question. You’d end up in quarrels, fights, and break-ups either way if both are not matured and patient with each other enough. From a guy’s point of view:

a) Is it because of being love drunk? (Not the song!)

b) Does it have to do with the rising man hormones a.k.a. hamsapness in you?

c) Or is it to do with loneliness?

Perhaps being in love is merely to remove that loneliness inside of you. Nothing more. The thought of knowing someone will be by your side under whatsoever condition. Someone who cares for you and giving you a chance to care back. Someone who has a say in your life and you have a say in his/hers. Someone whom you can be all fussy wussy to. Someone who touches your life, as how you touch theirs. Someone who shares with you sweet, sour, bitter and..hot times. It all links back to disposing loneliness, doesn’t it?

Not that I’m being pessimistic or emo. Love is indeed beautiful, filled with ups and downs, which is an alluring process and an essential part in life. Yet, it is surreal and hard to comprehend. Until I truly discover myself and “her”, I am setting my relationship issue aside. It might take months, years, or even decades for me to be actively engaged in a relationship again. Okay, maybe not decades! Wouldn’t want my manhood to rust and grow spider webs lah.

Don’t get me wrong. I do want a chance to be with the girl I like. Who doesn’t? But, it is always the issue of confidence holding one down when it comes to finding love. There is no perfection in love, that is to be sure of. For all one knows, simplicity may be the closest to being perfect.

Sigh. As simple as I want it to be, I find it difficult to free myself from the complicatedness that lies within. Love has been slipping away from my grasp every time I try to grab hold of it…

Perhaps, all I need is time.

Alright, enough gibberish.

On The Top

Ever feel welcomed at a snow mountain before? The moment we touched down at the parking lot on the mid-level mountain, a sudden fall of snow hit us hard on our face. No joke. At first it looked like rain hitting on the car windows, and I jokingly said “ Eh guys, its snowing!” They replied, “Yeah right. Where got so lucky, you think the mountain like us so much meh?”

As soon as we stepped out of the car, we were dumbfounded. Little puffs like cotton candies fell one by one from the sky. It started snowing. It seems that the mountain really do like us.

Undoubtedly the scenery was amazing. As far as I know it, its the first time I witness an actual snowfall, I think. We then began to fool ourselves under the snowfall, running up and down like children, opening our mouths to have a taste of snow, getting dandruffs on our hair.Then, things changed. The snow got stronger and stronger gradually. It wasn’t kidding and we felt the terror of that once-all-innocent looking snow puffs.

FREAKING COLD i tell you. Like stuffing yourself in a freezer for an hour WET.

No more playing. We quickly changed into our ski-gear, rented a while ago below the mountain. Our snow boots were already so huge and heavy, I wonder how Ironman walks with his ones. Compared to the thick ass snow jackets and trousers, our clothes were like nothing. It was like being naked in that intense coldness. I started to feel feverish again. Had a slight headache and fever the night before but heck, that ain’t gonna stop me from coming. My buffness and toughness can handle it lah. *sneeze

So, it was all good and we were ready to start our ski-venture. Took a quick snap of group photo before boarding the shuttle bus to the Village(starting point of the mountain).

“The village”. It indeed has a nice ring to it. The village, and us, the village-ers. It looked like a Christmas town. Only lacked a Santa Claus, the reindeers and the sledges. Well, we couldn’t waste this “cam-menwhoring” opportunity, could we?

When was the last time I skied? 5-6 years ago? I have no idea. But damn, was I a pure noob.

I couldn’t even get into a proper walking stance with my legs tied down to the skis. It’s so hard already to walk with that Ironman boots and now I have to add two sticks to my boots! I kept on sliding down the slanted slopes even small ones. They said to walk like a crab, walk sideways. I think I ended up walking like a duck. Luckily, I wasn’t as terrible as the turtle style walker.

We trained the whole day in the MCA, Magic Carpet Area a.k.a. Made for Children Area. We couldn’t bring ourselves to take the ski-lifts to the top top of the mountain to ski down seeing that even the children could ski better than us. It would be so embarrassing to act pro and end up losing face…and money. Not cheap you know the ski-lifts.

After hours of exhausting practices and painful falls on the ass, I finally gotten the hang of it. I could walk, ski, break without my poles. I found the poles hugely annoying so I threw it aside.

See? No poles.

My friend was even better. He was preparing to do some hip-hop with the skis.

Soon, the mountain got foggier and it was time for us to leave, everyone feeling contented, fun, excited and prepared for the next ski-day when we are dominating the ski lifts and mountain tops.

And I started feeling feverish again. *Sneeze

Journey to the Top

It is not long before we witness something new.

Finally, after a few hours of numbing our asses on the car seats and counting cows and sheep to pass time, the sight of the banner gave us a huge gush of energy.

Going up the mountain feels like going up Genting Highlands. There were so many turnings and mist shrouding the top of the mountain.

At one stage, the mist was so thick that it blocked our view and we had to turn our headlights on.

We started to feel the coldness although we haven’t reached half the top of the mountain.

Even Mr. Pig wasn’t feeling warm

And then, something stroke us and caught us in awe with both our eyes and mouth wide open. The best and most beautiful thing we saw throughout the entire journey.

Sunday.

A day when I’m lazy to wake up.

A day when I eventually wake up.

A day when I barge into my mum’s room and disturb her morning.

A day when I break into my brother’s room and disturb his sleep.

A day when I look around for my dog to disturb.

A day when I wash my car.

A day when I go out and have breakfast with my family.

A day when I get to see my cute lil’ baby uncle Matthew.

A day when I go jalan-jalan.

A day when I slack around at home.

A day when I hit the gym with my dad or play basketball with my rat.

A day when I don’t study.

A day when I curse myself for not studying in the end.

A day which ends too soon.

Two weeks have passed since I’m back in Melbourne and it’s another Sunday again. Typical, typical Sunday. When I woke up this morning, I had a sudden flashback of recurring activities I do every Sunday. It is, after all, a family day and yes, I do miss home already. The good boy hormone is kicking in. But what to do? Just got to take it all in and hold on for now lah.. *He knows how to call me now. Awwh..=’ )*

Then again, I am glad to have my “sub-family” group here. We had a full-house potluck gathering/family reunion last night where everyone have to bring something to eat..or they have to wash the dishes. Guess which one is mine? (*Hint: The presentable one)

It was fun after a long time of not having a full-house group gathering. I almost laughed till no voice yesterday. So much dramas going on! We even had the Malaysia version of “mei lui chu fong” (Beauty kitchen), judging our “tong-yuen” made by our one and only, 8 mui. Mr. Pig: “Sorry lah, tried my best. 2! Yi Lou: Since he give 2, I give –2 lah. Start from 0 again.

7 zai: I don’t want!! I don’t wa..Aaaaahhh!

Hahaha..

Now, it’s the start of a new semester.The start only and already bombarded with assignments and tests! What’s worse is, I haven’t actually activated my study mood yet. Still dwelling in my own world and the winter season tends to lazify me.

Somehow, I lose track of time easily. One moment I’d be doing my Maths during broad daylight, and before I know it, it is dark outside already. My previous term exam results were out. I can’t say I’m not happy with them, but I have got to work much harder. Many people out there who are insanely smart and it takes an insane great deal of effort to match their insane levels. Besides, I think I’ve slacked and procrastinated too much.

Well..got to get on with my work now or I’ll end up cursing myself at the end of the day. Have to finish up the tonnes of work before next weekend ‘cause I’m going ice-skiing. A 3days 2nights trip on the icy mount of Mt. Buller!

Wooot! Can’t wait for it! Mt. Buller, here I come! :D

10 things-to-do on my checklist in my trip back to Malaysia:

#1 GO MAMAKYou have no idea how much I miss the crowded, noisy Indian food stalls with ever-good and cheap food where you meet up and blow water with friends or watch football matches with fanatic and crazy people. In fact, the first thing I touched down in Malaysia, I dragged my parents to the nearest mamak and ordered my favourites—KOPI AIS AND ROTI TELUR. At that very moment at the sight of them, my mind went blank. I almost shed a tear.

It’s been a while guys.

#2 GET A DSLR CAMERA

It’s the cheapest one for beginners but still, getting this camera is like coughing blood. A whopping RM2099! OUCH! Nevertheless, I’ve always wanted to get one after realising the quality of photos taken using my digital camera sucks. Compared to that, this baby totally gives me top-notch, sky-high, “high-definition”, “high-resolution” quality photos. No matter how ugly you are, this camera can make you look beautiful. If you still look ugly in the photo, then sorry lah, you’re too ugly!

Then, of course, you need a professional photographer also. I’m still a beginner and still using the AUTO function. I know, I suck. Learning, learning! Have lots to capture.

#3 SURPRISE FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Truth to be told, only 3 people in Malaysia knew that I was coming back. It was a last minute decision trip and I thought of giving my family and friends a surprise. It was a funny experience especially the 1st surprise I made at home. My maid didn’t even dared open the door, seeing a stranger, carrying so many bags, standing outside the house at an early hour!

Prepared a surprise comeback post-birthday party for my dear friend, Garfield too. Although it was an “epic failure” as quoted by her, hope she enjoyed it anyways.

#4 SEE MY DOG

One of the things I miss the most was my Shih-Tzu dog, Mieny. I was shocked and devastated when I heard the news that Mieny was dying. It hit me right in the face. Just a while ago, I had my sister send me photos of him, asked my mum about him and out of a sudden, he was dying. He couldn’t eat, got weak and lost the potential to bark at strangers. The vet said his liver was failing, he has skin disease, cancer and all sorts of other illnesses. I thought it was absurd because how can you fit so many sicknesses into a small pup?! I had my family update me about his condition everyday. The thought of him being hanged to IV fluids at the pet clinic and whining to go home just breaks my heart. Mieny had to stay at the clinic for a few days to get his appetite back, and when the vet released him, he had to be on home-medication. He is still dying from what I heard. At that moment as my holidays were nearing, I was afraid I couldn’t make it to see Mieny for the last time. I just hoped and hoped my tough pup could stand a little while longer for me to get back home. As I entered the house upon my arrival, there he was, less fury and thinner than before, at the bottom of the dining table, preparing his barking stance when seeing a stranger. He completely couldn’t recognize me and barked as loud as I remembered he could, accompanied with his act of evasion from me. I tried to get close to him with failed attempts. Throughout the two weeks, I still couldn’t manage to lift his fear from me. Even my baby uncle, Matthew can talk more sense into him. Then again, I prefer to see him this way, barking at me than being all weak and unhealthy. I felt relieved.

Guess the humping times are over. Get well Mieny!

#5 EAT BAK KUT TEH

You’re not a Chinese if you don’t miss Bak Kut Teh in Australia. I do find it here in Melbourne except it tastes nothing like the one back home and its portion the size of that tea cup. Maybe not. Slightly bigger but still, I’d rather drink tea from a teacup. THIS is what I call BAK-KUT-TEH! The original large portion. The hot bubbly soup mixed with herbs and spices. The mind blasting aroma and fragrance of the vapour. The soft tender meat. Even the pot tastes good.

#6 HANG OUT WITH BUDDIES

Had a blast hanging out with some of my buddies.

Great seeing them again in good shape and err..red pants. Notice a slight change in them. While some got a little more serious… some became crazier. Well, some even said I myself changed. I became gentler?! What the hell…I have and always been cool, ok?

Got to hang out with some of them despite their business with college. Appreciate their time for me. My criminal mind boss even made it to meet me coming all the way from Singapore! Glad he could make it, otherwise I’d have to wait till year end before I can see him. That punch is not as pain as the RM21 parking ticket slap and other stuffs I made him pay. Thanks Jon for being my accompany/Ahmad/bodyguard/slave/ATM machine etc. For old times sake eh? ;) It’s been a pleasure meeting up with them again even though there’s so little time.

#7 WATCH MOVIES

Since a movie ticket in Melbourne is so darn expensive, I seldom watch movies as much as I do back in Malaysia. This trip home, I wanted to watch one movie a day. Don’t care whether its Malay or Indian movies. But due to the lack of time and people to watch with, I brought my movie tally only to four. Either it is me being ultimately tired or the seats at the cinemas so comfortable, I dozed off at every movie I watched! Even while watching Transformers! How could that happen?! Its not that Transformers is boring. IT TOTALLY KICKED ASS. But, maybe not my ass when I was sleeping.

#8 EAT ALL I CAN

You can’t expect me to be satisfied eating so little in a food haven country after coming back from overseas.

Now, this looks more like it.

#9 PRIMARY SCHOOL REUNION

I went astray seeing my old pals again whom some I have lost contact with for a very long time. Some I have not met for 6 years and more! Everyone outgrew themselves! Luckily, they were still recognizable. It seems like only yesterday when we were rug rats and midgets, causing trouble in school, playing catching running up and down, doing mischievous acts, breaking windows and doors, involved in silly fights, witchcrafts and friend-no-friend conflicts (*inside joke*), puppy loves and kiddies crushes, and I can go on and on. Now, we are all grown-up into handsome and beautiful young lads and ladies with different paths to follow. Was really happy to see them again. It’s been a long time since us four buddies reunite. Created a pretty ironic and dramatic scene, the four of us by the pool, catching up with each others’ lives and talking about the past. Sigh, time really flies. As quoted by our class teacher Mrs.Liew, a.k.a. Fairy Godmother, “The best badge of Primary 6 SSU students!” Credits to the coconut tree fanatic, fisherman’s friend, Sgt. Prinney Wayne, for organizing the reunion at his house. We’ll definitely have another one in the future!

#10 SPEND TIME WITH FAMILY

Needless to say, the most crucial and worthwhile thing I have ever done this round trip was spending quality time with my family. They were the main reasons why I came back. I had a hell lot of fun with my cousins and siblings. We laughed so much at silly cracked jokes and did so many crazy stuffs together. No words can describe the joy I had with them. I always felt at comfort and ease in their presence. Especially this cousin brother OKI, who just wrote another emo post for me.Well, to put it simply, they are my roots, always holding me tight to the ground, supporting me. Although it was only for a really short period, those moments I had with them are unforgettable.

And so, there ends my short journey back to the place I call home. A friend once asked me whether it’s worth the money flying back for such a short period of time. I can only say, “Definitely worth it. Cause I’m not the one paying for the ticket.”

MUAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!

*Ehem* No.. but seriously, thanks to everyone I met who made this trip truly an enjoyable one. THANK YOU! HOPE IT WOULD BE AN EVEN GREATER ONE AT YEAR END! TILL THEN! =)

P.S. My only regret is not getting new pair of shoes! Countless of shops in multiple shopping complexes I’ve been to but not a single pair!

Bah, I’ll have to stick to the old one.

Swine Flew

Swine flew to Malaysia.

With the swine flu epidemic terrorizing my fellow Malaysians, and me coming from Melbourne, the capital state of swine flu, I just have some thoughts to voice out.

Yeah, sure. There’s no deny to the fact that everyone in the world is self-conscious, self-loathe, self-minded, self absorbed and selfish. There is no wrong to put the safety of families and oneself as first priority. When there comes a time when you have to choose between families and friends, the right thing to do is of course sticking to the family choice. “Bah, who cares about friends? Not that its wrong, perhaps this is human nature. But, do people really have to be so low-life and pathetic?

Saying things like, “Don’t come back”, “Don’t come look for me”, “Stay where you are”, “You’re where you belong”, “OI, YOU GOT SWIGN AH? BETA DONT COME FINE ME LOH, LATER I KENA FLEW WEH.”

Idiots. We are already so far away from home, and the longing to return home every single day already depresses us so much, and there you are, so carefree enough to even mention all these. Like as if we are REALLY desperate to want to see you so much. Even though we are, the point of asking and saying it in a nicer way wouldn’t kill, would it? It’s not our fault that swine flu happened, is it? It’s not our fault to want to come home, is it? Even if we are infected with it, aren’t we the victims too? Why the hell are we being treated like criminals? Ever wonder how it would feel if you are put into that position? Think about it. We don’t expect you to know the joy of being able to return even if its only for a short period of 2 weeks because you won’t know how it feels to be facing everyday life at a foreign country without the presence of family.

By the way, it’s not that I have these sorts of friends..or maybe I do(They’re just hiding it). Listening to the experiences from my Melbourne friends who are back in Malaysia just pisses me off so much. Well I say, “Fuck them! If they don’t know how to value and appreciate you, forget you ever have those people you call ‘friends’.What’s the point of even referring these low-life retards as friends?”

Nevertheless, I’d still like to express my deepest apology to the people I went out with, for not controlling myself to self-quarantine at home for the proper duration. Now that it’s been fully a week since my return, I can assure all of you that I DO NOT HAVE SWINE, only a pig’s stomach for eating too much. If you are worried that you might have been infected with swine because of me, don’t find me until you look like this.

Due to the fear of swine flu, I have been hanging out with my new buddy these past few days who is immune to it.

There’s too many ways to describe Melbourne, from one of the liveliest and second most populous city of Australia, to the capital state of swine flu.

Being here for nearly 6 months now, I got used to the environment, weather, food and the Aussies culture. Seeing drunkards pee-ing on the streets is no big deal for me anymore. Now I pay attention to drunkards pee-ing onto cars. Furthermore, after mixing around with the locals, my mind is no more conservative too.

Called the number for my friend Yi Siang, whose manhood was in great threat after being assaulted numerously by people to update his blog.

The thing is I have really learnt a whole lot when living independently in overseas. I used to be unfamiliar with chores and cooking and household maintenance because all these were done by my mum and maid. Not that i’ve never helped out before, but there are hidden techniques to the secret of chores which I fail to master. Now that i understand how hard it is to do all these, I am NEVER going to live without a maid/wife in the future!

Although sometimes it does bother me that I’m no where near my family and home, I know I can still turn to the wonderful friends whom I have met here. Truly a heart-warming and great group of people they are. Our relationship is so close that we even formed a small family to bring the warmth of home here. As a family, we always make an attempt to have an outing or at least a meal together every week no matter how busy we are.

We went to Eye-Kea. Had a blasting karaoke session at K-Box. Enjoyed a relaxing atmosphere dinner at Federation Square.

Ate all we can in a buffet lunch at Crown Towers Sante’.

Travelled to Middle Park’s tram station for a super delicious Western breakfast! (Will blog more about this)

And many many more fun outings which never ends.

Now that it’s my 2nd term break at Trinity College and I have played my part in all the surprise attacks, I am clear to announce that.. I am back in Malaysia!

Ah..home never felt any better! :)

Return of the Prote'ge

SO, I am back to the world of blogging. It's kind of awkward when you completely shut something down, carry on with your life and then reopening it again under the same name. Imagine dumping a Dick, ignoring and not giving shit about Dick, and after a while, you go, "Hey, I miss my Dick." I actually wanted to change the link into something opposite to alanislow but my surname would then have to be Hai. Alan Hai!?No soHai way.

One of the first few things I'm going to do is to try to retrace all the bits and pieces of events that happened during the first half year of my studies and college life here in Melbourne.

I may not be a popular or famous or attractive or well-liked person whose story is often followed by others. Even so, I may not also be competent in delivering good and interesting stories. Nevertheless, I realised that in this little journey of mine, it is those small bits and pieces which mirrored the kind of life I am leading. Such is of my own interest.

The ups and downs I've been through had indeed made this story an unforgettable one. Being at a foreign country, far away from home, has brought me tonnes of experiences, both great and not-so-great. I have seen things I've never seen before and tasted experiences never thought of before. There is no existing words that can describe the companionship I've gained here. Hence, I feel the urge to put these memories in words, so that they live on in this head of mine. It's time to stop being under the radar and reveal once again every musings I encounter. Only this time, there'll be no more resets.

My story continues and this.. is only the beginning.
